Wilderness to West Coast 4 WD Tour

Departs from your accommodation in Stanley at 9am. Returns approx. 5.30pm. Includes a delicious home baked morning tea & gourmet lunch including fresh fish of the day (normally Tasmanian Ocean Trout), prime Tasmanian Scotch fillet, with salad, fresh bread rolls, and a selection of Tasmanian award winning cheese and wines, beer and bottled Cape Grim water and soft drink, all set out in the midst of a beautiful Myrtle rainforest. A once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Tarkine and the Wild West Coastline all in one fantastic and memorable day. This day tour covers around 250km for the day, allowing our guests to take leisurely strolls through these magnificent rainforests, viewing spectacular specimens of Blackwood, Tasmanian Oak, Myrtle, Sassafras and Leatherwoods (from which the famed Tasmanian Leatherwood honey is made). There is always opportunities to catch a look at our wonderful flora and fauna; a Wedge tail eagle in flight, Royal Blue winged parrots, Orange Bellied parrots, Blue Wrens, frogs, and many different species of funga, at different times of the year. Toward the end of the day, the tour will venture out to the Wild West Coast for some exciting 4 wheel driving experiences. A great day guaranteed.
